What this policy covers

This policy explains the Android app Groveprint and this accompanying informational website.

What you choose to keep

The app saves focus pins, an edition draft, saved editions and the reduced-motion setting in private app storage on your device.

Your edition notes

Edition titles and notes contain only what you type. Avoid including private information about yourself or others.

Temporary comparisons

Left and right comparison selections are temporary. They reset when the app process restarts.

Accounts

Groveprint does not create accounts or ask you to sign in.

Connections

The Android app does not request Internet access or connect to a backend service.

Permissions

The app requests no device permissions and does not access location, camera, microphone or your photo library.

Advertising and analytics

The app includes no advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party measurement SDKs.

Storage and retention

Saved content remains on the device until you delete it, clear app storage or uninstall the app.

Deleting an edition

Use the delete control within a saved edition. Confirmation is required before the edition and its note are removed.

Drafts and replacement

Clearing a draft or replacing an existing draft asks for confirmation. Saved editions are unaffected when you clear a draft.

Backup and recovery

Android backup is disabled for this app. No cloud copy or recovery service is provided.

Access and security

Private app storage limits routine access by other apps. Access to an unlocked device and operating-system security remain outside its control.

Sharing

Groveprint does not upload or transmit your titles, notes or saved arrangements. It has no built-in sharing function.

Younger readers

The visual-learning content is intended for a general audience. The app does not request age or knowingly collect personal information from children.

Using this website

The supplied pages contain no forms, analytics or advertising. If a publisher hosts them, its web host may process connection information such as IP addresses in server logs.

Nature observation boundaries

Groveprint is a visual-learning and composition tool. Its images and questions are not species identification, route guidance or professional conservation advice.

Changes and questions
